How to Use the IGNOU Percentage Calculator

  • Select the assignment and TEE weightage mentioned in your programme guide.
  • Enter the marks obtained and maximum marks for each course component.
  • Add more courses when required, then select “Calculate Percentage”.
  • Review the course-wise contributions and estimated overall percentage.

Why Weightage Selection Matters

A 30:70 split is used for many IGNOU courses, but it should not be assumed for every programme. IGNOU’s evaluation system may also include practical examinations, projects, internships, dissertations or other components. Always follow the current programme guide for your admission cycle.

Check Your Official Records

Use this calculator only after checking the latest marks recorded by IGNOU. Missing assignment or examination entries can make an estimate incomplete.

No login is required, and the calculation runs locally in your browser. The calculator does not send the entered marks to OpenStudyInfo.
