Quick answer: Delhi University has published tentative undergraduate date sheets for the December 2026 to January 2027 examination cycle. The official UG index lists 40 programme and paper categories; the separate PG index lists seven entries. Tentative, Revised and Final Date Sheet: Know the Difference

A tentative date sheet is DU’s planned schedule at the time of publication. It is useful for preparation, but a date, shift or paper entry can change. A revised date sheet or corrigendum changes an earlier schedule. Call a schedule final only when DU itself labels it final.

The PG index already includes an LL.B. corrigendum, so never rely only on an old downloaded PDF or a screenshot forwarded in a group. Save the official index page and revisit it when a fresh notice appears.

Who Is Covered in the DU December 2026 Date Sheet?

The UG index is divided into three academic frameworks: 19 categories under NEP UGCF 2022, 17 under CBCS LOCF and four under CBCS LOCF SOL. The Student Mode column matters as much as your degree name because an entry may apply to Regular, SOL/CDOE or NCWEB learners.

The PG index lists LL.B., LL.M. or M.C.L., MBA Full Time, MBA Executive or MBA Executive HCA, MPO, BA or BBA LL.B., plus an LL.B. corrigendum. At the time checked, these entries were labelled Regular. Therefore, a UG or Regular PG PDF should not be treated as proof of a separate postgraduate SOL schedule.

Regular, SOL/CDOE and NCWEB students

  • Regular: follow the mode shown beside the programme in the official index.
  • SOL/CDOE: DU material may use both names because SOL is now referred to as the Centre for Distance and Online Education in some current communications.
  • NCWEB: many entries are combined with Regular or other modes rather than appearing in a separate NCWEB-only PDF.

For example, under NEP UGCF 2022, B.A. (Hons.) is shown for Regular and SOL, B.A. Programme is shown for Regular and NCWEB, and B.A. Programme SOL has a separate PDF. A degree title alone is not enough to select a schedule. Check the latest DU SOL updates too, but treat the official PDF as the primary source for your exam date.

Understand Your Academic Framework Before Downloading

Your framework is the course structure under which your programme and paper codes were registered. A genuine DU PDF can still be wrong for your batch if the framework does not match. Confirm it from your admission record, examination form or programme documents.

FrameworkWhat the index listsWhat to verify
NEP UGCF 202219 categories covering major UG programmes, SOL-specific entries and common papers.Student mode, semester and framework printed on the PDF cover.
CBCS LOCF17 categories, many for Semesters I, III and V.Semester and whether the PDF covers Regular or NCWEB students.
CBCS LOCF SOLFour SOL entries for BA Hons., BCom Hons., BCom and BA Programme.Your exact course and whether your batch still follows this scheme.

How to Choose the Correct BA or BCom Schedule

  • B.A. (Hons.): NEP has Regular and SOL entries; CBCS LOCF has a Regular entry; CBCS LOCF SOL separately covers English and Political Science.
  • B.A. Programme: NEP has separate Regular and NCWEB entries and a separate SOL entry; older frameworks have their own listings.
  • B.Com Programme: NEP can cover Regular, NCWEB and SOL together, while CBCS LOCF and CBCS LOCF SOL use separate listings.
  • B.Com (Hons.): NEP has separate Regular and SOL entries, and older frameworks also distinguish the mode.

The checked B.A. Programme SOL PDF is 38 pages, marked tentative and covers NEP UGCF 2022 Semesters I, III, V and VII. Its entries begin on 5 December 2026 and continue through 6 February 2027. Do not copy that range to another programme; always use the PDF that matches your own course.

GE, AEC, SEC, VAC and Other Common Papers

Your discipline-paper PDF may not show the complete schedule. Under NEP UGCF 2022, the official index also lists separate schedules for Generic Elective (GE), Ability Enhancement Course (AEC), Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) and Value Addition Course (VAC), marked for Regular, NCWEB and SOL. It also includes DSE and a skill-based Semester VII category.

Important: Check every registered paper code from your own exam form—including common papers and approved repeat papers. Some programme PDFs show morning/evening sections or multiple codes in one row, so choose a shift only after reading the row heading and full code.

How to Download the Correct Official DU PDF

  1. Open the official UG or PG index and confirm the exam session at the top.
  2. Find your academic framework and read the Student Mode column before opening a file.
  3. Check the PDF heading for tentative/revised status, programme, semester and framework.
  4. Search the PDF for the complete paper code printed on your exam form or registration record.
  5. Check every registered paper, including GE, AEC, SEC, VAC, DSE and repeat papers where relevant.
  6. Save the PDF with the programme and download date in its filename, then bookmark the index for revision checks.

How to Match a Paper Code Correctly

Start with your own examination form or admission record—not with a screenshot shared by another student. Search the full paper code, then confirm the semester, subject and description in the same row. Similar paper titles can have different codes across frameworks.

If PDF search finds nothing, manually check the relevant section because spacing and text extraction can hide a valid row. If the paper remains missing after checking programme and common-paper PDFs, contact the appropriate college office, SOL examination team or NCWEB centre with the exact code and your registration evidence.

DU Examination Form Deadline Update

A DU Examination Wing notice dated 13 October 2026 extended the examination-form deadline to 15 November 2026 for covered Regular, NCWEB and SOL undergraduate and postgraduate students in Semesters I, III, V, VII and IX for the December 2026 to January 2027 session. A separate notice gave the same date for covered LL.B. and LL.M. students.

Read the full DU Examination Wing notification because scope and eligibility matter. For a student-friendly walkthrough, use our DU SOL examination form guide and keep the acknowledgement and payment receipt after submission.

What to Do If a Paper Is Missing, Shift Conflicts or the PDF Does Not Open

If a paper is missing

Recheck the session, framework, semester and student mode, followed by common-paper PDFs. Do not assume a missing row means cancellation. Send the examination office the exact code, programme details and a copy of the relevant exam form.

If two entries show different shifts

Read the block heading, complete paper code and any corrigendum. If the conflict remains, ask the examination office to confirm the applicable entry in writing. Do not select a convenient shift yourself.

If the PDF does not open

Return to the official index rather than using an old direct link. Try downloading the file or opening it in another browser. A temporary link error does not prove that the date sheet has been withdrawn.

Revision Checklist After You Find Your Dates

  • Create one row for every registered paper with its code, date and confirmed shift.
  • Prioritise papers with short gaps, but reserve time for timed writing practice.
  • Use DU SOL previous-year question papers to understand pattern and timing; old papers do not predict exact questions.
  • Adapt the one-month DU SOL study plan to your actual paper order and weaker subjects.
  • Recheck the official index after every revision notice and before making travel plans.

FAQs: DU Date Sheet December 2026

Is the DU December 2026 date sheet final?

No. The UG index describes the schedules as tentative. Use the dates for preparation, but check the official page again before your examination.

Where can DU SOL students download the date sheet?

Open the official UG index, choose the correct framework and select an entry whose Student Mode includes SOL. Then match the programme, semester and paper code inside the PDF.

Do Regular, SOL and NCWEB students use the same PDF?

Not always. Some entries combine student modes while others are separate or SOL-only. Follow the Student Mode column and PDF heading, not only the degree name.

How can I find my paper code?

Use the code printed on your exam form, admission record or registered-paper list. Search the full code in the PDF and confirm its semester and description in the same row.

What should I do if my subject is missing?

Check the correct framework and common-paper schedules first. If it remains missing, contact the relevant examination office with the code and a copy of your registration record.

Is the date sheet the same as the admit card?

No. The date sheet gives the planned schedule. The admit card gives individual examination details once issued, while the exam form records papers submitted by the student.
