DU SOL PG Courses List 2026–27: The current SOL admission page lists two-year MA programmes in Hindi, Sanskrit, History and Political Science; two-year M.Com; new one-year versions of those five subjects for eligible four-year graduates; a regular MBA; MBA (Executive) Healthcare Administration; and three Library Science programmes. If an older list includes MA English or MA Economics, do not assume SOL is offering them this session: neither appears in the current SOL PG admissions list.
Use the tables below to choose the right route, see published fees and understand how admission works. One-year admissions have already run in 2026, so avoid any old “registration opens soon” message. The latest notice and your admission dashboard determine whether your route is still accepting applications.
DU SOL PG Courses List 2026–27 at a Glance
Start with your qualification. A standard three-year bachelor’s degree usually puts you on a two-year MA/M.Com route. A completed four-year undergraduate degree may make you eligible to check the separate one-year route, subject to its own programme rules. MBA and Library Science have their own selection and eligibility, so they should not be treated as just another MA subject.
| Programme | Duration | Who should check it? |
|---|---|---|
| MA Hindi, Sanskrit, History or Political Science | 2 years | Graduates meeting that subject’s specific eligibility |
| M.Com | 2 years | Graduates who meet its commerce-related entry routes |
| MA in those four subjects; M.Com | 1 year | Eligible completed four-year UG/FYUP graduates |
| MBA (regular) | 2 years | Graduates interested in management; merit selection |
| MBA (Executive) Healthcare Administration | 2 years | Applicants meeting the separate healthcare-MBA conditions |
| BLISc | 1 year | Graduates seeking a first library-science qualification |
| MLISc | 1 year | Students with a qualifying BLISc degree |
| PGDADLM | 1 year | Students with qualifying BLISc or MLISc |
Important: BLISc stands for Bachelor of Library and Information Science. SOL groups it with postgraduate/professional admission information, but it is not a master’s degree.

Two-Year MA and M.Com: Available Subjects
The current SOL list is more focused than some third-party “DU PG” lists. For 2026–27 it shows MA Hindi, Sanskrit, History and Political Science, plus M.Com, in the two-year route. Delhi University as a whole may offer other MA subjects through its regular colleges; that does not automatically mean the same subject appears in SOL’s distance-learning admission portal.
Hindi involves literature, language and related study; History centres on historical inquiry; Political Science deals with institutions, politics and political ideas; Sanskrit focuses on the language and its texts. M.Com is the commerce-focused route. Match the course to your previous degree, academic interest and entrance-score position, rather than choosing simply because it seems easier or cheaper.
Entry is programme-specific. For instance, the MA Hindi prospectus identifies eligible backgrounds with Hindi courses, relevant prior master’s subjects or specified DU degrees, and applies marks rules by category. M.Com has its own listed routes and marks requirements. One blanket “any bachelor’s degree with 50%” statement is therefore not a reliable substitute for checking your programme’s table in the official MA/M.Com prospectus.
New One-Year MA and M.Com Route: Who Is It For?
SOL now lists one-year MA Hindi, Sanskrit, History and Political Science, and one-year M.Com alongside its two-year options. This route is intended for eligible students who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme, subject to the university’s course-specific eligibility conditions. If you completed only a three-year degree, do not assume that an additional year of work experience makes it a four-year degree.
Crucially, this is not merely a future proposal. The official SOL site lists the programmes and its merit-list page includes one-year MA/M.Com lists. A 9 September notice extended one-year registration to 20 September 2026, 4 pm. That date has passed as of this update; check SOL’s latest notices for any subsequent admission window, rather than following an outdated “apply now” button.
Is one year automatically better than two? Not necessarily. Your degree eligibility, desired subject, place on a merit list, and whether the available route fits your schedule matter more. Nor does a shorter programme automatically mean the same annual fee as the first year of the two-year track. If the one-year route is your target, check its own amount in the admission portal.
We have a focused DU SOL one-year PG admission guide for students who need the eligibility, document and application details beyond this course list.
MBA, Healthcare Administration and Library Science
Regular MBA
The regular SOL MBA is a two-year management programme with a separate prospectus and merit process. Its official selection criteria give weight to graduation marks and eligible professional work experience. Work experience is not compulsory for every applicant: the MBA prospectus explicitly says candidates without it can apply, though their merit is considered on graduation marks. Check its category-wise minimum marks and special routes before submitting documents.
MBA (Executive) Healthcare Administration
Healthcare Administration is a separately listed 2026–27 MBA programme with its own prospectus, registration details and selection conditions. It should not be described as merely an elective you automatically select later in the regular MBA. Read our MBA Healthcare guide for context, then confirm its current route using the official programme prospectus.
BLISc, MLISc and PGDADLM
These three are not interchangeable library courses. BLISc accepts graduates from a recognised university under its published eligibility. MLISc requires a BLISc qualification, with category-specific marks conditions; PGDADLM requires BLISc or MLISc. The 2026–27 Library Science prospectus presents all three as one-year, two-semester programmes. Check that you already have the prerequisite qualification before choosing MLISc or PGDADLM.
DU SOL PG Fees 2026–27: Verified Annual Figures
These are the published Category A annual/first-year programme totals for Indian nationals residing in India under the standard UR/OBC/SC/ST fee table. They include the exam-fee line shown in each fee breakup; they are not promises of an unchanged whole-degree cost. Your category and programme selection can alter the final portal amount.
| Programme | 2026–27 fee | What the amount means |
|---|---|---|
| MA Political Science / History / Sanskrit | ₹12,820 each | First year, two-year route |
| MA Hindi / M.Com | ₹13,120 each | First year, two-year route |
| MBA / MBA (Executive) Healthcare Administration | ₹57,920 each | Annual fee in each separate prospectus |
| BLISc | ₹13,770 | Annual fee, one-year programme |
| MLISc | ₹14,770 | Annual fee, one-year programme |
| PGDADLM | ₹17,870 | Annual fee, one-year programme |
| One-year MA / M.Com route | Check portal | Do not assume two-year first-year price |
The older version of this article quoted broad ranges and an MBA starting figure near ₹20,000. Those did not reflect the verified 2026–27 prospectus totals. For subject-by-subject tables, categories, registration-fee caveats and the payment checklist, use our DU SOL Fees Structure 2026–27 guide.

How Does DU SOL PG Admission Work?
The two-year MA/M.Com prospectus allows registration with a CUET-PG 2026 score and without one. CUET-score lists receive priority. Seats left vacant after CUET-based admission may then be filled on qualifying-graduation merit, subject to available seats and the programme’s rules. A no-CUET route is therefore real, but it is not a guaranteed seat or a reason to ignore the announced schedule.
The official 15 September 2026 notice extended registration for the two-year graduation-marks-based route to 20 September 2026. The one-year route also had a 20 September deadline under its 9 September notice. Since both dates have passed, this page does not claim admissions are presently open for every route. Check the most recent SOL notice and merit lists for your actual status.
- Open the official SOL admissions home; select PG, then the exact programme and duration.
- Read the subject-specific eligibility and selection route in the current prospectus. Have your graduation details, category proof if relevant, and CUET-PG details if using that route ready.
- Submit the online form only during an officially notified registration window and retain the acknowledgement or application number.
- Watch your dashboard and the course’s merit lists. If shortlisted, upload documents and pay only through the authorised SOL portal within the stated deadline.
- Download the fee receipt and identity card after successful payment. Keep the transaction reference if the payment status takes time to appear.
SOL’s MA/M.Com prospectus notes that document verification can precede the payment link. If you have submitted a form but cannot see a pay button immediately, check the dashboard and instructions before paying through any outside link.
Documents and Eligibility: A Short Student Checklist
- Graduation marksheets and degree/provisional proof: check what your chosen course accepts and whether all relevant semesters are visible.
- Identity and basic education records: keep the photograph, Class 10/12 details and any other documents listed in that route ready in the prescribed format.
- Category certificate: if claiming a reservation, relaxation or concession, check the current certificate requirements before selecting that category.
- CUET-PG score: relevant when applying through the CUET-based MA/M.Com selection route; do not assume it is required for the regular MBA.
- Work-experience proof: relevant if you want experience weightage under an MBA selection category. A fresh graduate may still be eligible for the regular MBA.
- BLISc prerequisite: needed for MLISc or PGDADLM; a general bachelor’s degree alone is not the stated MLISc/PGDADLM qualification.
Submitting the wrong course option or an unreadable scan can slow an application down. It is worth checking the spelling of your name across your graduation records and application before final submission. My Practical View: Choose the Route Before Comparing Fees
I would decide which programme I can actually enter before comparing price tags. A ₹12,820 MA first-year figure looks close to a ₹13,120 M.Com figure, but the subject requirements, selection lists and your own academic background matter far more than that ₹300 difference. Similarly, the two-year and one-year versions share a subject name but do not have the same eligibility or necessarily the same fee.
One correction from the original version matters especially: it treated several reported or approximate figures as though they applied to the 2026–27 SOL intake. The official prospectuses now give specific Category A totals, and the official PG list tells us which subjects SOL actually offers. I would keep the SOL course list, the correct prospectus and my admission dashboard open together; if one of them disagrees with a blog, pause before paying.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which MA subjects are in the DU SOL PG Courses List 2026–27?
The current SOL PG admission list names MA Hindi, Sanskrit, History and Political Science in both one-year and two-year routes. M.Com is listed separately. Check the official list for any later additions.
Does DU SOL offer MA English or MA Economics in 2026–27?
They are not listed on SOL’s current 2026–27 PG admission page. A regular Delhi University college may offer a course that SOL does not, so check the institution and study mode carefully.
Who can apply for a one-year DU SOL PG programme?
The route is intended for eligible graduates of a completed four-year undergraduate programme, subject to specific university eligibility rules. A three-year degree is not automatically enough for the one-year route.
Can I get into a two-year SOL MA or M.Com without CUET-PG?
The 2026–27 prospectus provides a graduation-marks-based route for seats left vacant after CUET-score admissions. Registration and selection still depend on the official notice, merit and remaining seats.
Is work experience compulsory for the regular DU SOL MBA?
No. The regular MBA prospectus says applicants without professional work experience may apply; eligible experience can add weight in the merit calculation.
What is the difference between BLISc and MLISc eligibility?
BLISc is for graduates from a recognised university under its admission rules. MLISc requires a qualifying BLISc degree and applicable category-specific marks.
Are the DU SOL PG fees per semester or per year?
The fee figures in this guide are annual or published first-year totals for Category A, not per-semester charges or confirmed full-course prices. Check your selected course’s official portal payment screen.
