The DU SOL Medha Setu Portal 2026 is the official student dashboard currently listed by the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi. It is intended for students admitted from the 2025 academic year onwards. The login page accepts a SOL Roll Number or Examination Roll Number in the first field and a password or control number in the second.
If you cannot remember your login details, do not keep guessing. The official page provides separate Know Your Control Number and Forgot Password options. This guide explains how to use them and fix common login errors.
Students often search for it as Meda Setu, Mega Setu, Megha Setu or Madhu Setu. The correct name is Medha Setu, and the only official login address is medhasetu.oldcdu.ac.in.
Last verified: 21 October 2026, against the official Medha Setu login page and the DU SOL homepage. OpenStudyInfo is an independent educational-information website and is not affiliated with the University of Delhi.

🎓 What Is the DU SOL Medha Setu Portal?
DU SOL identifies Medha Setu as its student dashboard for the newer admission cycle. Instead of relying on a link forwarded through WhatsApp or Telegram, students can open it from the Quick Links section of the official SOL homepage. The official login screen clearly states “2025 Admission Onwards”.
Dashboard options may depend on the student’s programme, admission year and the academic activity currently open. Follow the options visible in your account and confirm important dates through the latest DU SOL notice.
🪪 Details Required for Medha Setu Login
Your roll number identifies your student record and belongs in the first field. The control number is a separate credential accepted in the second field as an alternative to the password. Copy the details carefully and remove accidental spaces.
🧭 How to Log In to DU SOL Medha Setu
Open the Official Login Page
Visit medhasetu.oldcdu.ac.in directly or open the Student Dashboard link from the official DU SOL homepage.
Verify the Domain
Check the address bar before entering personal information. The official page should use the oldcdu.ac.in domain.
Enter Your Roll Number
Type your SOL Roll Number or Examination Roll Number in the first field exactly as it appears in your university record.
Add the Login Credential
Enter your password or control number in the second field, then type the answer to the maths captcha shown on the page.
Select Sign In
Review the numbers once and select Sign In. On a shared device, do not save the password in the browser and remember to log out after use.
🔎 How to Find Your Medha Setu Control Number
Select Know Your Control Number on the official login page if you do not have the control number. Enter only the information requested by that page and verify each detail before submitting it. The exact recovery fields may change, so follow the live instructions rather than details shown in an old screenshot or video.
If the record is not found, check whether the details match your admission documents and retry later. Never pay an unofficial agent to obtain the control number or share it publicly.
🔑 Medha Setu Forgot Password Process
The login page shows a Forgot Password link, but when we checked on 21 October 2026 it did not open a separate recovery page. You do not need the password to log in: the second field also accepts your control number. If you do not know it, use Know Your Control Number first, then log in with the roll number and control number.
If both options fail, call the DU SOL helpdesk (details below) instead of trying several random passwords.
🛠️ Common Medha Setu Login Problems and Fixes
| Problem | What to check | Recommended action |
|---|---|---|
| Incorrect roll number | Typing mistake or extra space | Re-enter the SOL or Examination Roll Number from your official document |
| Wrong password/control number | Caps Lock, spaces or mixed-up credentials | Type it again carefully or use the official recovery option |
| Captcha error | Wrong answer to the maths sum | Reload the page and type only the numeric answer of the new sum |
| Portal loading slowly | Temporary server or network issue | Wait and retry using a stable connection or another current browser |
| Student record not found | Wrong details or ineligible admission year | Check your documents and confirm that your admission is from 2025 onwards |
| New student cannot log in | Record may not yet be available | Check official notices, retry later and contact DU SOL if the issue continues |
| Forgot Password link does nothing | The link did not open a recovery page when checked | Log in with your control number instead, or call the DU SOL helpdesk |
Switching browsers may help with a display problem, but it cannot correct a wrong student record. Preserve a screenshot if the same account-related error continues.

📝 Medha Setu, Examination Form and Hall Ticket
The official DU SOL homepage now lists Medha Setu as the examination-form route for all UG programmes and for M.A, M.Com, MBA, BLISc, MLISc and PGDADLM. Students of the 2022-23 to 2024-25 UG admission batches (third-year promoted and ex-students) and some older PG programmes have separate exam-form links on the same homepage, so check which route applies to you before logging in.
The hall ticket / admit card is not out yet; the DU SOL homepage shows it as “Coming Soon”. Watch the official homepage and your Medha Setu dashboard for the release.
For complete instructions, use the separate DU SOL Examination Form 2026 guide or check the DU SOL Hall Ticket 2026 update. If you are unsure which university website is correct, the Official Student Portal Finder lists verified routes without asking for your password or OTP.
